Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first post as a an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami, where she was a producer of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. The CBS subsidiary located in St. Petersburg hired her after this as a sports reporter. Her move into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at one of the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Reports on her show covered immigration issues as well as drug trafficking and various other topics on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. She was also a Spanish reporter at the newscast of 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter on the newscast of nine p.m. on English and a Spanish reporter at 10 p.m. In addition, she was an anchor for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. At some point they were moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She's more mature than her younger sister. The family relocated to Miami following the move to Mexico into the US. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was naval engineer, who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was on a summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten the job. Antonietta still a senior at high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she was looking for. When she was deciding whether Mount Union would be a good fit to her needs, Antonietta went to visit the school. It was a beautiful campus as well as offered the level of education she sought. After finishing high school, she decided to attend the University and major in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, formed an ongoing friendship with the student. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
